In our previous animated historical documentaries we talked about troops of Alexander the Great and Philip II, yet despite the fact formidable Companions and the devastating Macedonian phalanx epitomized the conquests of Alexander, there were many other units in Alexander’s army besides his mighty Macedonians – many of which specialized in performing roles critical to some of Alexander’s greatest military triumphs.
